Anirban Basu to deliver keynote presentation at C&D World 2022
CHICAGO, IL – The Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) is proud to announce C&D World’s keynote speaker: Anirban Basu, Chief Economist for Associated Builders & Contractors.
“From his perch as Associated Builders & Contractors’ economist, Basu has a unique view of the trends in the construction industry, and provides great insight on the future of the market based on a variety of factors, including North American market indicators, government reports, and talking with contractors from across the continent,” says William Turley, CDRA Executive Director. “C&D World attendees can look forward to an enlightening presentation.”
About Basu
Basu is Chairman & CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., an economic and policy consulting firm headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland with an office in Indonesia. The firm provides strategic analytical services to energy suppliers, law firms, medical systems, government agencies, and real estate developers, among others.
In 2014, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan appointed Basu Chair of the Maryland Economic Development Commission (2014-2021). He also serves as:
- Chairman of the Baltimore County Economic Advisory Committee
- Chief Economic Advisor to the Construction Financial Management Association
He serves or has served in similar functions for Visit Baltimore, Maryland Realtors, and Marcum, LLP.
