CDRA announces C&D World Program

LAS VEGAS –The meeting place of the construction material recycling industry will be March 14-15 at the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association annual meeting at the Paris Las Vegas as part of the huge CONEXPO-CON/AGG show. C&D World 2023 features educational sessions focused on must-know trends, topics, and networking.

Our presenter on “What is Going On At OSHA and How To Deal With It” is Adam Young with the noted labor law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Every company has oversight from OSHA, and what the current Administration is doing with the agency is vitally important.

The first of the two panels, the Operations Panel, will be on how a recycling operation is set up for local end markets. Dave Smith, concrete recycler and CEO of Mount Materials, and Lincoln Young, mixed C&D processor and President of Rockwood Sustainable Solutions, will describe their local end markets and how their processing plants are set up to meet the needs and specifications of those markets.

The second of the two panels, the End Markets Panel will discuss the basic agricultural market for recycled gypsum for those looking to get into the business, and how a major mixed C&D Operation that produces dozens of different end products is able to pull that off. This panel, sponsored by General Kinematics, will be run by Terry Weaver, President of USA Gypsum, Jerame Renteria, Marketing Manager at GreenWaste/Zanker Recycling, and Bob Huffer of General Kinematics serving as moderator.
